4 SIMPLE STEPS TO GET CONNECTED

TO GET STARTED WITH MESSENGER BOTS YOU WILL NEED...

  • At least one Facebook page 'Business'

  • Admin role on a Facebook Page

STEP 1

Firstly head over to the Manychat website to sign up for your FREE account below

STEP 2

Once you have signed up for your free account, you will be asked to sign in with Facebook

STEP 3

Now select the correct answer that suits you and your business

When you select your answer you will be asked "What best describes your business"

  • Other
  • Ecommerce
  • Infopreneurship
  • Professional consulting
  • Celebrity, Artist or Public figure
  • Local business or Place
  • Hotel and hospitality
  • Personal Blog
  • Fun (Jokes, community, daily quotes, etc)
  • Organisation or Institute 

Then specify from the drop down list


STEP 4

Select your Facebook page you want to connect


Now you should see your Manychat dashboard with your page name you select in the top left corner

THAT'S YOU NOW CONNECTED

We just have to do a couple more steps over in your Facebook business settings

1: In your Facebook page settings select the Messaging tab

 2: On the right hand side of the message settings dashboard you will notice another tab labeled 'Prompt people to send messages' - TURN THAT ON

When you have selected the prompt people message button, this will allow people visiting your Facebook page to get a visual prompt to send you a message!

Shown below: The messaging window will always display when a users visits your page.

Now the final, but important step is to turn off the response assistant. With turned on, your chatbot audience will receive Facebook standard greeting message and not your AMAZING chatbot message you're about to create!
